Electric pink blooms for a shady autumn area
During the autumn season, when the vibrant hues of summer begin to fade, there is a need for a pop of colour in our gardens. Upon a trip to my local B&Q store, one plant stood out, the beautiful Saxifraga cortusifolia, and I just had to have it.
Being a woodland plant, it brings vibrant colour to any shady spot with its delicate pink flowers and glossy green leaves. Its low-growing, spreading habit makes it ideal for ground cover. I needed a filler plant, and this was a perfect fit for what I had in mind.

Saxifraga cortusifolia is a hardy perennial that thrives in cooler temperatures, making it a perfect addition to autumn gardens. Being a woodland plant, its tolerance for partial shade also makes it a versatile plant that can be grown in various locations in the garden. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this plant is easy to care for, requiring minimal maintenance to keep it looking its best. Provide it with well-drained soil and occasional watering, and it will reward you with its beautiful blooms throughout the autumn season.
